Thomas Taylor (priest)
The Ven. Thomas Taylor, DD (1857–1803) was the Archdeacon of Chichester from his installation on 15 October 1803〔(British history on-line )〕 until〔On Thursday last, the Rev. Dr. Taylor, Archdeacon of Chichester, held his primary visitation Hampshire Telegraph and Sussex Chronicle etc. (Portsmouth, England), Monday, July 22, 1805; Issue 302〕 his death on 4 January 1808: he was also Rector of Abinger, 〔Alumni Oxonienses the members of the University of Oxford, 1715–1886; their parentage, birthplace and year of birth, with a record of their degrees. Being the matriculation register of the University" Volume IV (A-D) p1396 Foster, J (Ed): Oxford, Parker, 1888〕 Professor of Law at Gresham College and an Honorary Chaplain to the King.〔'Advertisements & Notices' The Morning Chronicle (London, England), Wednesday, April 13, 1808; Issue 12141.〕
